Is it politically correct to wonder why not to have a heterosexual pride month?

The reason must be heterosexual people have never been taken to prison (considered criminals by law until very recently), disrespected and / or brutally beaten or killed in the street, etc. just for the sake of being heterosexual people.
Personally, as a heterosexual person, I do not need a pride month.
You may like or dislike people, irrespective of their sexual tendencies.

It is always interesting to raise controversy and discuss sensitive topics (we might do it in class), but this is only an English Blog. My intention is just to improve your LGTBQ+ vocabulary, in case you are willing to.
