Consonant Pronunciation Place

See where your tongue is placed when pronouncing English consonants. Notice most consonant phonemes go in pairs: /p, b/; /f, v/; /t, d/; /s, z/; /k, g/ ... unvoiced and voiced, but they share exactly the same place to make the sound. 

Vowel Pronunciation Place

This is the place in your mouth where the 12 English vowels are pronounced. On the left, your lips (front); on the right the back of your mouth. Schwa right in the middle...
