The vaccination of the age groups most vulnerable to Covid-19 is picking up speed in Spain – nearly half of the 70-79 age group and 40% of the 60-69 population have had their first shot.
The question now is what Spain should do with the more than three million Janssen doses that will be left over once the over-60s are immunized, given the tiny risk of rare blood clots among younger demographics.
