Remember the intonation of these tags is always a rise!
To be frank, once you're used to using the standard way, this form looks a bit strange, doesn't it?
No, it's not "strange"; you're just trying to show surprise, anger, sarcasm, disbelief... and not just the "usual" agreement, which is the intention of "usual" question tags with a falling intonation pattern: "You like English, don't you?", whose answer would definitely be: "Yes, I do (like English)"
